    Hi Todd and all,
Yea, birds seem to be moving around. I had a bluebird in my yard in the lower
oakland hills this am. Not a first but a rare event. There were yellow-rumped
warblers and hermit thrush feeding on my grassy dead lawn. The other day a
male merlin perched on Fong's antenae. And yesterday in the rain at Dimond park
in the native plant garden I saw 4 fox, 5 golden crowned sparrows, a lincoln
and of course a song sparrow.
