Dear Birders,

It seems early to me but this morning along the West Ridge Trail in =
Redwood Park, at the edge of the first canyon south of Skyline Gate, I =
heard a single Red-breasted Sapsucker call.  These birds usually don't =
arrive in my yard until the first week in October.  Has anyone else had =
this bird in early September?
