[EBB Sightings] Emeryville Peninsula Ancient Murrelet

Good Afternoon 

Do you ever have one of those days where your brain
stops to think and then doesn't start again?

On my morning stroll around the watergate complex, I
spied a dumpy black and white Alcid with a pale bill,
floating serenely, 20ft off the boardwalk on the
northern side of the peninsula. That's interesting I
thought, I must look that up. 

It took Michelle Brodie's email on SFBirds to wake me
up. It seems as if Michelle's ANCIENT MURRELET has
floated from Candlestick Point to the balmy shores of
Emeryville.
