I've heard Ravens from my house (in central Berkeley) calling well after 
dark and also at 4 a.m. Since I decline to believe this is a Mockingbird at 
work (although there was one in my neighborhood in Hawthorne when I was a 
kid which could imitate a Model T Ford missing on one cylinder, so I don't 
underestimate them), I assume it's some behavioral thing I don't know about it.

Anyone got any clues?
