Today, Thursday, at high tide at 12:40 PM, a Black Rail was well seen by =
four birders in our group about 30 feet north of the boardwalk at =
Arrowhead Marsh, near the Oakland airport, Alameda County.

I can't recall any reports of a Black Rail at Arrowhead. Can anyone say =
how unusual this is for that location?

In addition, we saw one and heard several, perhaps close to a dozen, =
Clapper Rails but that is normal for Arrowhead.
