I found a Lewis's Woodpecker this morning along Mines Road in Livermore at
milepost 6.28. It was on the telephone post on the uphill side of the road.
It then flew uphill to a lone oak tree. This is by the driveway for 10200
    Mines Road.

This afternoon at the west end of West Winton Ave. in Hayward:

Hayward Landing: 1 Wandering Tattler, 1 Surfbird and 3 Black Turnstones.

    Frank's Dump: still over 50 Least Terns, 1 Red-necked Phalarope, 4 Snowy
    Plovers,
5 Ruddy Turnstones and a couple of hundred Red Knots.

and Heermann's Gulls have returned to Alameda Southshore.
