We went out to Hayward Regional Shoreline late this morning. We parked at
the end of Winton Ave and walked up to Frank's Dump marsh.

We saw the WANDERING TATTLER on our way in, on the "rocks" at the end of
the Flood Control Channel. Follow the path along the Flood Control Channel
(along either side) to its very end, just north of the bridge, out at the
bay. The tattler was hanging out on these rocks until a Willet came along
and pestered him into flying. He flew low along the bank to the north, and
we were unable to relocate him.

Other good birds at/near Frank's Dump included:
Red Knots - many (numbers uncertain, as they were mixed in with many
    roosting birds in the marsh)
    Red-necked Phalaropes - 2
Least Terns - 2 adults, 1 juvenile, hunting sporadically along the bay
    side, then returning to marsh
American White Pelican - 3 flyby
Ruddy Turnstone - 1 in rocks on bay side
Black Turnstones - 4 in rocks on bay side
    Semipalmated Plovers - 2
