[EBB Sightings] Swainson's Hawks

I braved heat & wind Monday and went to Byron Hiway, looking for the Swainson's Hawks.
 
The traffic on Byron Highway was ferocious.  A steady stream of trucks, almost unbroken.  The noise and fumes were overpowering.
 
We pulled off onto Herdlyn Rd, and it was much more enjoyable.  This site got us at least 3 different Swainson's in the air, and some long views thru the heat shimmy at 2 more perched on fence poles.  At least I think they were different birds.
 
After exausting this site, we moved north to Clifton Rd, and saw at least 2 more Swainson's Hawks in the air.  Also a juvenile Snow Goose on the water at the road's end.
 
Total species seen for the day = 31.
 
Thanks for continuing to post that these birds remained to be seen.
