    Hi all,

    This winter, from January 18-22, 2005, I had a Rose-breasted Grosbeak visit
my feeders in northwest Walnut Creek. I wonder if this individual is
related. I took a picture (nothing spectacular like what the EBBirders
post) and notified the Project Feeder Watch folks at Cornell Lab about my
sighting. They posted the picture and report on their website. If you
would be interested in looking, the link is below. Scroll about halfway
down the page and you will see it.

    > For the fourth time since 1997, I have a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak

    > If it is the same individual - which seems likely - it is at least nine

    > current longevity record for RBGR is 12 yrs, 11 mos.
    > Seconds ago it was on the front deck feeder along with several
    > Black-headed Grosbeaks (M & F), House Finches, Purple Finches, Oak
    > Titmouse, California Towhee, American Goldfinch, etc.
    > It you want to visit, we're at the northern intersection of Gravatt and
    > Stephens in the hills above the Claremont Hotel.
