    Yesterday evening I had a about a dozen honking
    flyover canada geese at my home near Wildcat Canyon. 
    One of the geese was noticeably smaller (I'd estimate
    about 2/3 the size) and had a much higher pitch honk
    (but I would still classify it as a honk).  Are the
    resident 'big type' Canadas far enough along in their
    breeding to have kids that can fly?  Or could this
    have been one of the small type geese like Aleutian
    canada goose?
