In my south Berkeley back yard this morning I enjoyed a little entourage of
spring migrants including Wilson's warbler, Pacific slope flycatcher, and a
gorgeous male Western tanager that fed (briefly) about fifteen feet away
from me in a pineapple guava bush.

There's nothing particularly special about our yard for birds save for a
large black acacia tree, so my guess is that this weekend there are a lot of
migrants moving through the area. So get out there and check your own yard!
