    The GGAS walk at Mitchell Canyon on Sunday morning was a great success.
    A total of 31 awesome birders showed up for the walk lead by Michael
    Butler and Pamela Llewellyn.  
    Thanks to all of you who joined us for your great spotting
    contributions.  
    Hope to see you on our next walk (also check the Oakland Bird Club
    website).
    Of special note were nesting Cooper's hawk (she's back for her second
    year), Black-headed Grosbeak, Oak Titmouse and Nuttall's woodpecker.  
    We did not get the full array of Warbler's on this walk.

    Hermit Thrush - behaving strangely, possibly injured
