Hi all,
Several have already asked if there are good bar graphs somewhere that show 
arrival dates. The best answer, though now a bit out-of-date, is The Birds of 
Northern California by McCaskie, De Benedictis, Erickson and Morlan. It is 
out-of-print but easily available. Go to www.bookfinder.com (or some such site), 
put McCaskie in the author box and Birds of Northern California in the title 
box. Up will come quite a few at various prices from various book sellers. Make 
sure you get the one with the 1988 supplement. It should be about $15, perhaps 
$20. 
When I first started birding I nearly memorized this book and I strongly 
recommend it.
