[EBB Sightings] Owl Prowl re-cap

Hi all:

35 of the finest owlers I've ever known showed up on a
wind-swept foggy night to do what we do best: Owling!

Our cricket and frog prowl had some highlights:

The owl that flew in front of us that half a dozen
folks saw that I missed because I was tuning up my owl
tapes.  Briones Regional park.

One Great Horned and one Barn Owl (one screech only
the little dickens) near Bear Cr. Rd and Alhambra
Valley Rd.

The Great Horned Owl opus as performed by the Men's
and Women's Great Horned Owl chorale.

Some really great recorded sounds. Thank you Stokes
and Cornell!

Denise Wight had a post-perched Great Horned Owl at
Briones Reservoir / Bear Cr. Rd.

The wind through the trees at Inspiration Pt. was
spectacular. Very high Sierra-esque.
