This morning on the west side of the large south pond closest to the Swan
Street entrance several of us viewed what appeared to be an immature GLAUCOUS
GULL. This was a very large gull, almost completely white with pale steaky buffy
coloring underbelly and a small amount of light buffy splotching on the wings
and back. The bill was pale pink with a black tip. The legs were also pink.
The eye looked dark. Among the 11 observers were Emily Strauss, Judi Sierra,
Ann Ruffer, and Courtenay Peddle, who was able to digiscope the gull with his
    camera.

Other notable sightings included Cackling Goose, Eurasian Wigeon, Eurasion
Teal, and five or six Clapper Rails..
