    Hi, all.
A good month ago (+ or - a week or two) I was riding
my bike in the Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland and
saw a number of Western Bluebirds. They were at the
very top of the ridge in the Chinese and Greek
Orthodox sections. I've meant to get back to enjoy
them more, but haven't, so I don't know if they're
still there or not. I suspect they're year round
residents. (The cemetery is at the eastern end of
    Piedmont Ave.)
    Cheers,
    Alan Howe,
    Oakland
