Saturday morning at 8 am, George Bing and I and several others
saw the Swamp Sparrow in Las Positas Creek, 0.25 mi W of
Springtown Blvd on the paved bicycle trail, which is just N of
Rhododendron St, 1 mi N of Hwy 580.

We also saw a Common Yellowthroat (male), a Marsh Wren,
a Sora and a Virginia Rail at the same spot.

The Swamp Sparrow was at the nearest edge of the high reeds,
and near a rectangular sign on the barbed wire fence accross
the creek. The Sora and Virginia Rail were on the E edge of
    the high reeds.

Have patience. It sometimes takes an hour to see whatever
    is hiding there.
