[EBB Sightings] Blue-winged Teal; Owls

Hi all:

Many apologies for the late posting.  Bad computer
virus karma over the weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, I had two male and two female
Blue-winged Teal at Coyote Hills Reg. Park along the
southern edge of South Marsh near the intersection of
the Bayview trail and Meadowlark Trail.  

Friday night I scouted the Owl Prowl I'm leading in
March for Golden Gate Audubon.

(1) Northern Saw-whet Owl. Inspiration Pt. Tilden Reg.
Pk.
(2) Barn Owls.  1 at Alhambra Valley / Bear Creek
and 1 adjacent to the big curve 1 mile east of the
Bear Creek / San Pablo Dam Rd. intersection along Bear
Creek Rd.
(11) Great Horned Owls.  At most stops.

All identifications were auditory.  The Barn owls both
flew in to check me out.  The other owls kept their
distance.
