I had a croaking gang of 22 ravens fly over my head yesterday at
Huckleberry Preserve. Don't know what they were talking about, but I am
sure that it was interesting. If you, like me, are fascinated by these
intelligent corvids, I highly recommend the book, "Ravens in Winter", by
Bernd Heinrich, one of our more intrepid behaviorists. He's a damned
fine writer and artist to boot.
