[EBB Sightings] Strange Duck at Lake Merritt, Oakland

He was still there this afternoon, a couple of hours before low tide, 
keeping company with a large mixed flock of Barrows and Common 
Goldeneyes. Beautiful viewing from the 12th Street bridge over the estuary.

Almost as entertaining: the succession of puzzled joggers asking what 
all the people with binoculars and scopes were up to lately....
