[EBB Sightings] Mines Rd 1/2

Hi Everyone--

Yesterday 1/2, along the Alameda County section of Mines Road, I saw a pair
of PHAINOPEPLA. I also checked Altamont Creek in Springtown, and saw no
Swamp Sparrow, but the SORA gave good views, and there was a male CINNAMON
TEAL in the creek. Water levels in the creek are much higher now.

My first bird of 2005 was Great-tailed Grackle in McAllen, TX, with Tropical
Parula and Crimson-collared Grosbeak following later in the day.
