Plenty of siskins still feeding with wild abandon in my liquid amber
trees, along with American goldfinch and the odd linnet. Even when I
don't see them, I still see their sign: a heavy coating of seed-pod
debris and little white poops all over my car (sigh). Also saw over 200
cedar waxwings in the liquid amber the other day, although it is just a
roost for them; their high pitched "tseeees" alert me to their presence.
