[EBB Sightings] Pleasanton - RAPTORS

Their are two Red-shouldered Hawks calling on the corner of Main St and
Del Valle Parkway Pleasanton,  in the Sycamore Trees.
They were calling to, two other Red Shoulder Hawks.
The second set of Hawks were on the other side of the Rail Road tracks
also in a  big Sycamore Tree on the  back side of Amador High School.
Yesterday 12/24 about  4 PM, in my front yard a Merlin was perched for
30 minutes eating a Dove.
So I was able to get very good looks it was an adult male of the sucklyi
very dark race.
Back yard entertainment are a couple Chestnut backed Chickadees hanging
up side down on my deck post's eating spiders I suppose, a Ruby Crown
Kinglet joined so it was an entertaining.
