Hi All,

On Friday Dec 17 in Alameda at Alameda Pt while doing our twice monthly
census of the proposed Alameda Refuge we found an adult Ferruginous Hawk and
two Barn Swallows.  Sorry the area is still closed to the public, but wanted
to alert everyone to be on the lookout for them on the Oakland Christmas
Count tomorrow.  At least they are good count period birds and could
possibly be seen from outside the refuge.
