On Saturday morning while walking above Little Farm in Tilden we discovered a great horned owl being mobbed by two Steller's jays, a varied thrush and 13 ruby crowned kinglets.
 
On Sunday we found a golden eagle perched atop a redwood tree on the Tres Sendas trail in Redwood Regional Park.
