    I just hope the eagles hang around long enough to get some of those jack
    rabbits. A couple years ago, I was surprised to count 20+ without much
    effort. Last weekend, I counted closer to 50.

    Hi EB Birders,

    Just a few sightings from Alameda County on Monday, November 29th.
    �
    MLK Jr. Reg. Shoreline/Arrowhead Marsh - 3 Golden Eagles, 2 adults and one
    young (Basic I). All three flying overhead as seen from the entrance parking
    lot.�One adult made a stoop to the ground, but did not captured any prey.�
    �
    The 11 Greater White-fronted Geese and the Cackling Goose reported by Bob
    Powers were still present, as was the Merlin.
    �
    Bay Farm Island -�Black Scoter� - a single male within 100 yards of the
    Harbor Bay Ferry�Terminal.
