Sorry for the late post but I just got back from Reno. On the way up there
Friday morning at 7:30am I refound the Swamp Sparrow that was previously
reported by Art Edwards in the Springtown area of Livermore. Walk the paved
path on the south side of the creek west of Springtown Blvd. I had the bird
just beyond where the path (and creek) bend slightly to the left. It flew
from near the path to the reeds in the creek and then it foraged on the
exposed mud. I also saw a Sora near the end of the path and there where
many flocks of Greater White-fronted Geese flying overhead. One flock had a
    lone Ross's Goose with them.
