The wife and I went out to MLK Shoreline to see if the rain had been =
enough to create decent pools of water as you first drive in. It had. =
We saw an osprey dining on a still wiggling fish with three turkey =
vultures circling overhead. One vulture landed about eight feet from =
the osprey, spread his wings as wide as he could and began inching =
toward the osprey in what could only mean "break yourself" in bird =
language. The osprey stared back and at about three feet the vulture =
broke eye contact and turned a bit. Osprey takes off with fish and =
vulture pursues a few hundred yards hoping for a dropped fish, no such =
luck. Vulture comes back and picks around the ground for osprey =
table-scraps. Turkey vultures just became more interesting.

    Happy birding
    Bob
