[EBB Sightings] Knots Not in Knot Central

Have a few questions:

What is an E. Sparrow?  Eurasian Tree Sparrow?  Do we
get them here?  (Big Yard Day)

Every since I saw the Knots at West Winton, I have
been seeing Knots other places (Arrowhead, several,
Palo Alto Marsh, 1.)  Either the Knots are lost, or I
am mis-identifying them.  How do you tell a
Black-Bellied Plover (winter plumage) from a Red Knot?
 What do the undersides of the Red Knot wings look
like?

Has anyone else seen the immature Green Heron at
Temescal?  To us, it appeared significantly smaller
than the adult.  Is this true?

At Mt. Hamilton, I saw a nuthatch with all the
markings of a White-Breasted Nuthatch, but the sides
and face appeared creamy or pinkish.  Bad light?  Or
some kind of immature?
