    Good Afternoon

At the very apex of the Albany mudflats (where
Buchanan intersects I-580), 10 feet from the shore and
in 6 inches of water, a young Common Murre swam
quietly around the legs of the wading Avocets.

Across of the race course parking lot, on the nearside
of the ruined pier, a Wandering Tattler sunned itself.
Further out on a free standing piece of wharf debris,
a very young Western Gull chick hunkered down in the
wind. It seems to have outgrown the leopard spots that
it wore only a week or more ago, though it still looks
precariously young to be living in such a wild and
    wooly piece of suburbia.

    Have a nice day.
    cheers
    Peter

P.S. 'Apologies if my clumsy fingers fired off an
    empty email!
