    New EBB:

This is a message which you have already seen, but it did not reach
http://www.sialia.com/s/calists.pl. Therefore since I have nothing to new
to report, here comes this old report. Perhaps someone has something to say
about the report of West Nile Virus now turning up within our region in
Walnut Creek in Contra Costa County?

    East Bay Birds:

Yesterday afternoon (7-30-2004) at about 5:30 PM I found an adult Sabine's
Gull in flight at Hayward Regional Shoreline. This was where the trail
reached the edge of the bay west of the visitor center. The bird was flying
from the bay eastward while being followed by two Forster's Terns and
disappeared eventually over one of the inaccessible ponds to the east. Its
    wing pattern is unmistakable.
